SMESA

In order to sustain the bond of friendship of the yesteryears, and with the aim of helping the alma mater, St. Mary’s Ex-students’ Association (SMESA) was formed.

What we do

Today, SMESA has a wide range of activities from organizing annual musical extravaganzas, holding their annual family get-together, felicitation programmes for students excelling in their ICSE examination, felicitation for retiring teachers and organizing Medical Camps regularly.

About School

In 1848, The Christian Brothers Missionaries of Ireland founded the Calcutta Male Orphanage at Murghihata, Kolkata. In 1947, it came to the present expansive campus in Dum Dum and was named St. Mary’s Orphanage and Day School.

About SMESA

If you are a student of St. Mary’s Orphanage & Day’s School, Dum Dum then its time to renew your ties with your school through SMESA. Be a member of SMESA and revisit your childhood memories and payback your long awaited dues to your school.
